A Christmas commission for a Triceratops fan (Trikes are my fave dinosaur so no great chore…) Rather than the usual image of Trikes fighting one another or a T-rex, I decided on something a little more sedate and went for a pair napping. I also modelled them on the work of paleoartist Mark Witton, who noted the large scales covering the body of Triceratops and suggested that the head shield was covered in sheaths of keratin.
