My first Star Wars piece, done purely for fun. Inspired by the imagery seen of soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, it seemed an easy thing to transpose the grim and gritty aesthetic of desert street-fighting to Tatooine. I wove a little narrative on a dewback patrol ambushed by Tusken insurgents in the narrow streets of Mos Espe. Local forces move to help, providing cover fire with an E-WEB cannon team while sandtroopers await the arrival of a shuttle to medivac the wounded.
